What is the course about?
The Certificate is a six-month distance learning course, requiring the student to work through a manual, attend revisions for each module via Zoom, submit two assignments, and attend online exams (written and practical) to become a qualified Asthma Carer.
The following Modules are covered in the course:
- Module 1: Asthma Basics;
- Module 2: Diagnosis of Asthma;
- Module 3: Special investigations in the diagnosis of asthma;
- Module 4: Asthma Management;
- Module 5: Drugs and delivery systems;
- Module 6: Special circumstances in asthma; and
- Module 7: Setting up an asthma clinic.
